Immigrant Liberation Movement (ILM) is a grassroots coalition led by and for immigrants and undocumented people. ILM provides support for immigrants through direct action, education, community organizing, and legal defense. ILM operates a network called Migra Watch, which gives immigrants access to a 24-hour Migra Watch Hotline where they can report ICE raids and receive guidance on their rights during an ICE raid in real time. The Hotline also simultaneously sends text-alerts to zip codes within the vicinity of the ICE raid and volunteer teams deploy to the site to document the raid and provide support to impacted immigrants.

The Bay Area Immigration Fund is a project of Freedom for Immigrants, a non-profit organization devoted to abolishing U.S. immigration detention. The Bay Area Immigration Bond Fund raises money to help post bond for immigrants who are detained in the San Francisco Bay Area and cannot afford to pay their bonds. The fund is a revolving community fund that continues to recycle to help other detained immigrants.

Alameda County United in Defense of Immigrant Rights (ACUDIR) is a coalition that advocates for immigrant communities, including equality in access to education, jobs and housing. ACUDIR also opposes the restrictive immigration enforcement regime and immigration detention.

The San Francisco/Bay Area Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild (NLGSF) seeks to unite lawyers, law students, legal workers, jailhouse lawyers and attorneys to support social justice movements and demand racial and economic justice in the Bay Area. NLGSF’s Immigration Committee provides Know Your Rights training to impacted immigrant communities so that they are better positioned to organize and defend themselves against ICE.
